4.3 Permitted Use
You may browse the Site and download pages for personal, non-commercial offline reference. You may not:
- copy, mirror, scrape, or crawl all or part of the Site for commercial purposes;
- decompile or reverse-engineer client code;
- use Site content to train AI models, build datasets, or sublicense to third parties;
- remove or alter any copyright or trademark notice.

The Site offers a product anti-counterfeit lookup at the /verify page. Results are based on comparing the scanned QR code against the official CLAREO database:
- First scan, database match — the product carries a genuine anti-counterfeit label;
- Multiple scans — likely genuine but already scanned multiple times; beware of refilled counterfeits;
- No database match — the code is not in the CLAREO database; the product is likely counterfeit.
Verification results are for consumer reference only. Definitive authentication rests with judicial or administrative authorities. If you suspect counterfeiting, please report it via the contact information in Section 11.
7. Third-Party Links
The Site may link to third-party sites, social platforms, or e-commerce platforms (e.g., WeChat Official Accounts, flagship stores, press coverage). Those platforms are operated independently and CLAREO is not responsible for their content, privacy practices, product quality, or services. Please review their terms and privacy policies before use.
8. Disclaimer
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law:
- The Site is provided on an “as is” basis without any warranty of continuous availability, uninterrupted service, or absolute freedom from error.
- CLAREO is not liable for service interruptions caused by force majeure (including war, natural disaster, governmental action, cyberattack, power outage, or backbone-network failure).
- Any decision you make in reliance on Site content (including purchasing or skincare decisions) is at your own risk.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, CLAREO is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or punitive damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Site. CLAREO’s aggregate liability under these Terms is limited to the direct, actual losses you incur from such use.
Nothing in this section limits liability that cannot be excluded under mandatory provisions of Chinese law (including the Consumer Rights Protection Law and the Product Quality Law).
10. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of the People’s Republic of China (excluding the Hong Kong, Macau, and Taiwan regions).
10.2 Dispute Resolution
Any dispute arising from these Terms shall first be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If negotiation fails, either party may bring an action before the people’s court of competent jurisdiction in the place where Hertz Biotechnology (Chengdu) Co., Ltd. is domiciled (Chengdu, Sichuan).
If you reside in the European Union, you may also bring proceedings before the courts of your habitual residence to enforce non-waivable consumer rights granted by the EU Consumer Rights Directive.
